The Chinese economy saw inflation slow to 4.9 percent in August according to AFP.
The China inflation decline comes a forth month in a row as weakening domestic demand is suspected by analysts as the key driver.
Other key Chinese economic figures include an all time high China trade surplus of $28.7 billion and a rise in China foreign direct investment (FDI) of 41.6 percent in the first eight months of 2008.
